Enduring Power of Attorney. ( EPA)

Arguably the best legislation in years!

Consider choosing a trusted family member or friend, or both to deal with your affairs at the crucial time, when you become mentally incapable of dealing with your own affairs.

  • to act on specific or all matters
  • to ensure continuity in day to day financial and practical matters
  • relieve anxiety for the family
  • avoid in most cases, expensive and time consuming applications to Court of Protection to appoint a Receiver to manage your affairs. Which will follow, if you don't have an Enduring Power of Attorney in place
  • fees to the Public Guardianship Office are minimised

The EPA can be likened to an Insurance Policy. A one off fee for peace of mind. Our role will be to set up the power and to assist when it needs to be activated. We also take on the role of attorney if required. To obtain further information please complete the questionnaire and submit it to us , or email admin@barrington-sons.co.uk or telephone us on 012 787 82371 or 'fax' us on 012 787 92781 and ask to speak to Nicholas Redding or Corran Caley.
